How do I find the direction of a room?
Stand in the centre of your home and use a compass (the compass app on your phone works well). Face outward to see which direction each area falls in — North, North-East, East, and so on. Use those directions in the calculator above.
What is the most important zone in Vastu?
The main entrance is considered the most important, as it is where energy enters the home, followed by the kitchen, master bedroom and the placement of toilets. Getting these right has the biggest effect on daily life.
What is a common Vastu defect?
